The D Aquisto DQ Jazz boasts a classic jazz look and bright sound with a 1-piece maple neck, adjustable bridge, 22-fret ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl inlays and Gotoh gold plated tuning machine heads. There is a single neck position humbucking pickup with volume and tone control. Figured flame maple top, figured maple back and sides, all ebony fittings, finished in a dark red sunburst. Jimmy James L D'Aquisto Rare Signed Shop Ticket
This is a very rare Jimmy D'Aquisto signed shop ticket. The work was for the Jim Hall job. Firstly, the neck had to be reset because it was loose at the heel. The main work was the complete replacement of the fingerboard with ebony, frets (obviously) and binding. Jimmy's block inlay work was extra at $75. The ticket was adjusted to add $10 for a bone nut.
